Yes, absolutely. We offer flexible volunteering, and there’s no minimum commitment. You’re welcome to book shifts across different roles and explore what suits you best. Some roles may require additional training (for example, Food Safety Training), which you can complete through the Volunteer Portal before getting started. 

Many of our roles involve a reasonable level of physical activity, such as lifting and carrying 10kg trays of food, moving items, or standing on your feet for extended periods of time. We also have office-based roles and are committed to equality and inclusion. As part of your application, you will be able to let us know of any health conditions or access needs that might impact your volunteering, so that we can help you find a role that works best for you. 

Only if you’d like to volunteer as a driver. If you’re interested in this role, you’ll need to be 21 or over, have held a full driving licence for at least one year, and have no more than 6 points on your licence. You’ll also need to complete a driving assessment at one of our depots. If you’re volunteering in any other role, a driving licence is not required.
