Our award winning public affairs team delivers policy change that benefits food charities and the people who we support.
Felix’s campaigning led to the government’s ‘Tackling Surplus at the Farm Gate Scheme’, which resulted in £15 million in sector wide government funding during the 2025/26 to redistribute fresh produce from farms to charities and community groups.
More recently, we have been an anchor partner in the National Programme to Redistribute Surplus Food, which was announced by the Prime Minister during the King’s Speech in May 2026.
