Volunteer Induction Support
Welcome, guide and support new volunteers on their first Felix shift.
The first shift is an important moment for every volunteer as it’s the start of their journey with Felix and often shapes how confident and welcome they feel. As an Induction Support Volunteer, you’ll play a key role in making that first experience a positive one. You’ll guide new volunteers through their induction, introduce them to the depot, and help them feel prepared, safe, and ready to get started.
You’ll also support new volunteers as they begin their first tasks, offering guidance, answering questions, and helping them settle into the team. It’s a rewarding role where you can make a lasting impact, helping more people get involved and ensuring every volunteer gets off to the best possible start.

I have been a volunteer in the warehouse at Enfield for 7 years. Being a volunteer has been fun, I’ve met a lot of different and interesting people and made some good friends. All this while helping to save food that would otherwise be wasted and share it with those in need. Recently I have been assisting in training new volunteers, which enables me to share my knowledge and enthusiasm for what Felix does.
