Fuller plates start with fundraisers like you

Whilst we would love to support your dinner, we’re not able to donate food for individual fundraising events. Whatever you are thinking and planning please do get in touch we would love to offer you support and inspiration. Get in touch (fundraiser@felix.org) and we’ll support you every step of the way.

Yes. The easiest route is to set up your own JustGiving page for Felix first, then generate your QR code from it: 

1. Search ​“Felix” on JustGiving, or visit [justgiving.com/felix] and select ​‘Fundraise for us’ 
2. Set up or log into your JustGiving account and personalise your page with a photo and your own story raise more, so tell people why you’re fundraising for Felix
3. Once your page is live, add /​qrcode/​to the end of your page’s URL (or select the QR icon from the ​‘Share’ tab) to generate your unique code 
4. Screenshot or download it and add it to posters, collection tins, buckets or social posts… easy peasy. 

Scanning it takes supporters straight to your page to donate, and Gift Aid is collected automatically for eligible donations. 

Every penny raised helps us rescue quality surplus food and get it to people who need it, in every corner of the country. For every £10 you raise, you help us redistribute 35 meals to people facing food insecurity. So, if you hosted a bake sale and it raised £50 this would enable us to deliver 175 meals, and a £500 challenge is 1,750 meals. Extraordinary impact, don’t you think? We spend your fundraising where it’s needed most, rather than tying it to one specific project, so it can go furthest across our work.

Yes, once you’ve registered your event or fundraising idea with us, we can discuss fundraising resources and materials specific to your event.

We’d love to be there where it’s possible, but with a small team and a lot of fantastic events across the country, we can’t attend each event. Please do get in touch and we can see if a local volunteer can attend: fundraiser@felix.org. Please bear in mind the earlier you tell us, the more likely it is we can attend. 

Yes, please get in touch: fundraiser@felix.org and we’ll send you our bank details along with a reference to use, so we can match your transfer to your event and say thank you properly. If you’ve fundraised through JustGiving, you don’t need to do anything else, your donations (and any Gift Aid) come to us automatically. 

We have an ​‘in aid of’ logo, which fundraisers can use for their events. Please get in touch: fundraiser@felix.org and we can send you the appropriate logo. 

While we can’t supply prizes ourselves, we can provide a letter confirming you’re fundraising for Felix, which local businesses will often want to see before donating a raffle prize or experience. Please get in touch with details of your event, what type of event it is, where and when it is happening, and we will happily send it on over. It’s also worth checking your local council’s rules: small raffles at private events usually don’t need a licence, but it’s worth confirming if you’re selling tickets more widely.
