Three Peaks Challenge: Morocco

Head to the Atlas Mountains for this epic seven-day adventure in September 2027.

If Morocco’s highest peak isn’t enough, you’ll be scaling three 4,000m+ peaks, all while raising vital funds to support Felix’s mission to rescue great food and get it to the people that need it.

The important bits

  • Event date: September 2027
  • Distance: 44km
  • Duration: 7 days (inclusive of travel)
  • Difficulty: challenging
  • Expedition company: Tribal Tracks

Details of the trek

After an initial acclimatisation trek in the mountain village of Imlil, you will continue through spectacular High Atlas landscapes, passing Berber villages and remote mountain trails before reaching Base Camp. From there, you’ll take on Timzguida (4,089m) and Ras (4,083m) before the ultimate challenge: trekking to the summit of Mount Toubkal (4,167m), the highest mountain in North Africa.

Along the way, you and the rest of Team Felix will experience Berber hospitality, wild camp beneath the African skies and tackle demanding high-altitude trails, including some short scrambling sections.

After conquering the three peaks, it’s back to Marrakech to explore the souks and the famous Jemaa El-Fnaa, then celebrate the team’s achievement with a rooftop dinner.

It’s a huge physical challenge (but doable with the right mindset and training!), and we’d love for you to join us.

The impact your fundraising has

Every pound raised helps Felix rescue surplus food. Here’s the impact of your fundraising:

lllustration of a person chopping vegetables
1.5m
people reached across the UK
lllustration of a man delivering crates of food to a person at the door
8,000
charities and community groups supported with food to maintain their services
